Netspeed 5GHz Wireless Broadband connections run as fast as your link will allow (up to your chosen data cap). For more information on connection speeds, check out our How fast is full speed article in the Support Zone.
In response to the COVID-19 lockdown, all our plans now have unlimited off peak data. Off peak is now between Midnight and 9am. This special offer ends June 30th. Until the end of the lockdown, you'll also receive an additional 20GB of data on your peak period should you reach your cap.
There is no contract period when you join on any standard 5GHz Wireless Broadband plan. We are so confident that once you've tried our services, you’ll be so happy with our rural wireless internet options that you won 't want to change! All monthly payments are due in advance by direct debit.
Netspeed 5GHz Wireless Broadband connections don't use old copper phone lines, we connect you using 5GHz wireless equipment. If you do need a phone service, check out our phone plans.
We warn you when you are approaching your data cap and you can choose to either reduce your connection speed and pay no extra, increase your plan ($20 per 100 GB only on a 200 GB or higher plan) or just exceed your data cap and pay the excess data charge.
All Netspeed 5GHz Wireless Broadband plans use a WiFi router so that you can connect your laptop, tablet, smart phone or any other WiFi enabled device by wireless (without using a network cable).
Static IP addresses are standard with all Netspeed plans at no extra charge, so you can set up your very own hotspot, private or public game server, web or email server and lots of other cool techy stuff.
Netspeed members can have 5 email addresses complete with virus and spam filters, POP3, IMAP, SMTP and Webmail services.
